The founder's note
The written exam has a thousand teachers. The interview — the round that actually decides who serves — has almost none. Especially not in Hindi.
I've sat across the table from aspirants who could recite the Constitution's Directive Principles from memory, who had run relief camps during floods, who had taught in schools with no electricity — and then watched them freeze the moment a board member leaned forward and asked something no textbook prepares you for.
That's the cruelty of this exam. A candidate can spend two years and their family's savings mastering the syllabus, and still lose everything in twenty-five minutes to a round nobody taught them how to sit.
I built Padhav because I don't think a father in Deoria or a daughter in Bastar should have a worse shot at this round than someone who grew up speaking boardroom English.
We are a very small team, in beta, building this in the open with the first aspirants who trust us with their practice.
What we optimise for
The product exists to tell you the truth about your board — gaps and all. We would rather lose a sale than fake a score or a review.
A Hindi-medium aspirant deserves a board that thinks in शुद्ध हिंदी, not an English tool with subtitles bolted on.
Mock panels are expensive and metro-bound. A phone and one free session should be enough to start.
