REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Refunds and cancellations

Last updated · 26 September 2026

IN SHORT

Try a free session first. Paid packs are one-time purchases that never auto-renew, and they are not refundable once activated. If you were charged without activation, charged twice, or charged the wrong amount, write to us and we will review it.

01

Scope

This policy explains how Padhav Private Limitedhandles cancellations and refunds for Padhav session packs paid for through Padhav's checkout on padhav.in, including a checkout opened from the Padhav mobile app. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by Razorpay.

02

Free session before you pay

Padhav offers a free session on each track (UPSC and KVS), subject to the free-access terms shown on the Pricing page, so that you can try the interview experience before deciding whether to buy a paid pack.

03

Paid packs are one-time purchases

Paid session packs are one-time purchases for a single track. Each pack includes a fixed number of sessions and a validity period, as shown on the Pricing page at the time of purchase. Paid packs do not auto-renew, and Padhav does not set up autopay or any recurring charge. Because nothing renews, there is no recurring plan to cancel.

04

No cancellation or refund after activation

Once a payment succeeds and your pack is activated on your account, the purchase cannot be cancelled. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is non-refundable, including where you do not use the pack, where sessions remain unused (including when the validity period ends), or where you change your mind.

05

Payment issues we will review

We will review a payment issue if you contact us about any of the following:

(a) Charged without activation — your payment was debited but the pack was not activated on your Padhav account.

(b) Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same purchase.

(c) Incorrect amount — the amount deducted was different from the price shown at checkout.

Each case is reviewed individually against the transaction records held by Padhav and Razorpay. Depending on what the review finds, we may activate the pack you paid for or approve a refund of the amount that was wrongly charged. A request is not approved automatically, and we cannot promise a particular outcome in advance.

06

How to request a review

Email [email protected]from the email address registered on your Padhav account, or use the Help & Support page. Include the date and amount of the payment and the Razorpay payment ID or bank transaction reference. Never send your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or OTP.

We aim to respond within 24–48 hours. The review itself may take longer, depending on the information we need from you and from the payment provider.

07

Approved refunds

If a refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. The time the amount takes to reach you depends on your bank and the payment provider. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the treatment of taxes and payment-gateway charges in an approved refund follows applicable law and the payment provider's rules.

08

Your rights & governing law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any right you have under applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to those rights, the courts at Bengaluru, India shall have jurisdiction, consistent with our Terms of Service.

09

Legal review status & effective date

Effective date: 26 September 2026. Review by qualified Indian legal counsel is pending. We may update this policy; the date above always reflects the current version.
